Belief updating

Having learned how to measure beliefs, we ask how people update them — and why the same person can over-react to weak signals and under-react to strong ones. Augenblick et al. (2023) is the reference point; the payoff is a language for diagnosing over- and underreaction both in the lab and in finance applications.
